Making use of the Google Maps API, Perfect Days invites British Airways’ huge Facebook user base to publish individual activities or day-long itineraries for the cities they know and love. They can upload their photos and add descriptions to their entries, while other users can like and comment on the moments and days already in the system.
We also developed an automated method of awarding points and badges to the most active users. A leaderboard grading users on specific criteria displays a breakdown of stats, adding a layer of gamification to the application.
Thousands of moments and days have been uploaded, and the app has received thousands of worldwide likes.
